I received the Huot metric Drill Index storage box days after I ordered it, not the weeks that were estimated for delivery. It is almost identical to the Vermont American fractional Drill Index storage box I've been using for years and shares similar material and fit-finish with the older unit. Although the Huot was packaged in a closed cardboard box, there was a slight scratch on the outside of the unit that didn't bother me, but it is the one imperfection I could find. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this if you need a metric Drill Index storage box.One minor issue for me is the 1.5mm slot barely holds the drill bit and it will probably slip out if the box is inverted. I might add a rubber bumper to the rear of the box to prevent movement, but this has not been a problem yet. I do not have a 1mm drill bit to test that slot, yet.
