I was on a hunt for a gate wide enough to fit my back deck opening. I went through a 2 month-long process of ordering and returning these gates until I found the right size. I had no issues with any of packages. Not once did the package miss any parts, everything I needed was always in there and in great condition.Once I got the right size I noticed the gate was so wide that it would bend at the extension sites do to the pressure. It comes with these little blocks that have a slit in the middle, at first I had no idea what these were for. Once I figured out that they are meant to slip over the extension cracks to prevent it from bending, the gate was perfect. It’s sturdy and easy to assemble. It took me maybe 10 minutes to get it all set up.Instructions could be better great productIT TOOK ME NO LONGER THEN 15 MIN.TO PUT THIS TOGETHER. YOU DON'T NEED ONE TOOL ONLY A KNIFE TO CUT THE TAPE OFF THE BOX TO TAKE OUT THE GATE.HIGHLY RECOMMENCEDThe gate is perfect. Very study with a new active lab puppy. He can see what’s happening in the kitchen but stays out of trouble. I did get the side bumpers to save our door frame. I didn’t want to screw anything into my door frame. I would highly recommend.The gate doesn't feel cheap. It was easy to install. I have the gate pressure mount that is able to hold 4 pups that weight about 30-50lb each when they lean on the gate all together as they get excited when I give them treats or food. Would recommend this for people who have dogs.This is a good sturdy gate. Unlike other gates I have, it can be opened with one hand, and there is no way that our dog could accidentally open it. I especially like the self closing feature. I would prefer that it take a bit less effort to lift up to release the latch, but that’s probably good for keeping kids in. The cat door doesn’t really serve a purpose. Our cats just jump over. If we opened the cat door the dog would be able to fit through it.Arrived in a timely manner and was installed in no time flat. It is a very attractive gate. Worked perfect for our larger doorway.
