This core drill bit worked great for my application, installation of a mini split AC system. I had to drill through several walls, which all consisting of concrete and stucco over adobe walls. I also had to drill through sandstone and it worked great there as well. It makes a clean entrance and exit despite the hard yet brittle materials. The only note that I have, when renting the drill from a local rental store, Home Depot in my case, I needed an adapter. Since Home Depot didn’t provide this, I had to purchase that separately. Also realize that if you are renting a drill, you will want to know the insertion end. BI to BS in my case, using a Hilti DD-150-U. My expense came out to be half the price when compared to purchasing a drill that was a direct connection to the drill.Got the job done core drilling thru 8" of reenforced concrete. Drilled (2) holes and the bit stills looks good, paid for itself already!I bored a hole through my cinder block wall to install an AC unit. It worked great. This is one of three I purchased at the same time, all different manufacturers, it did ok but wore out quicklyIt did exactly what a purchased it for.
